We released the Draft Day Rookie cards in December 2010. Collectors demanded more, so in Feb 2012, we proudly released the 2012 Football Draft Prospects to the football-hungry collectors of our nation.
Both sets provided collectors with the earliest rookie cards of potential stars that their respective clubs had drafted and featured them in neutral Guernsey colors. Some 18 months later after the sealed boxes and cases sold out at wholesale/retail levels, the product continues to generate many inquiries every week here at FC HQ on the phone and via email.
Furthermore, the product is always moving on the secondary market due to the wide and varied player selection, but more importantly the 2nd year of free-agency within the AFL, giving the opportunity for players in this set to move to different teams.
From a collector-standpoint this opens up a world of new opportunities for collectors too!

2012 Football Draft Prospects
A few updates on some of the players in the set -
Billy Longer - Ruckman with huge potential, recently traded from Brisbane to St Kilda
Brad Crouch - this set contains the ONLY rookie card of this Crows potential superstar. All his cards (Draft Signature, Nickname Signature, Futures and Future Star Guernsey) always demand attention when available on the secondary market.
Brad Hill - the first Premiership player from the set, and already one of the most popular in the set, rivaling Kavanagh, Ellis and Crouch with prices on all his cards at the upper end of the spectrum.
Brandon Ellis - despite playing for one of the most popular teams in the league, this Richmond youngster is playing the game with tremendous skill, and collectors love him! Most would consider Ellis to be the highest priced player in the set.
Chad Wingard - where do you start? All-Australian Team selection in his 2nd season, key finals contributor for his team in 2013. Everything points to a very successful career for years to come. Future captain in the making, perhaps? All his cards are in hot demand!
Elliot Yeo - cracked the Lions lineup in 2013 and never really looked back. Recently traded to his home state, where the West Coast Eagles welcomed him with open arms. One of the three Lions on the triple signature card with Longer and Docherty.
Jackson Paine - traded from Collingwood to Brisbane for Patrick Karnezis, allowing some excellent forward opportunities alongside veteran Johnathan Brown.
Jonathon Patton - injury riddled first 2 seasons sadly, but the upside is huge for the key forward prospect; 2011 #1 overall pick.
Lachie Neale - for a late pick, the Dockers have done well. Played a few senior games in his first season, and then in 2013 became a regular senior player, including the 2013 Grand Final. Enormous upside, when will collectors take notice?
Lauchlan Dalgleish - promoted from the rookie list, played senior games for Essendon in the back half of season 2013. All positive signs so far for the Bombers.
Sam Docherty - traded from Brisbane to Carlton which must excite some collectors, was also featured on the
triple signature card, some of which will now be sought-after by Blues' fans!
Shane Kersten - key forward for the Cats, and will more than likely debut at AFL level in 2014. Keep an eye out for his Power Pick card, which might receive some renewed attention. Geelong signaled a change, one of which was trading forward Paul Chapman to Essendon.
Stephen Coniglio - Played 18 games in 2013, averaging a shade under 20 disposals per game. Will be a key figure his team's midfield.
Toby Greene - Averaged over 22 possessions a game in 2013, will team nicely with Coniglio in the future. Unlucky not to win the NAB Rising Star in his debut year.
2012 Football Draft Prospects Preview 5-card Set - Elliott Kavanagh, Corey Gault, Hayden Crozier, Jonathon Patton and Chad Wingard.
