Tri-Star trouble for Select??

With Select set to release the Tri-Star Signature next week, trouble may be brewing for the card company as copyright allegations surface. Several keen-eyed collectors have pointed out that Tri-Star is an established US based company that not only operates the National Sports Collectors Convention but already produces trading cards called “Tri-Star Signatures”.
What action (if any) Tri-Star intends to take remains unknown, but it makes for interesting times ahead in the card collecting arena.

2013 Teamcoach update

Not surprisingly the scheduled release of the new 2013 Teamcoach was delayed from the 14th March until the 22nd March.

Therefore, we should hopefully have some boxes and single cards to bring to Australia's Premier Collectables Show on Sunday, 24th March 2013 at the Williamstown Senior Citizens Centre from 9am-1pm.

Its fair to say that the anticipation has been heightened after a 'ho-hum' release of Select Champions, which offered collectors a truckload of mid-range valued cards, along with quantity, rather than quality for team collectors, but other than that, not much.

This year's Teamcoach is likely to have Silver-Code Game cards and GOLD cards, headlined by the always popular Star Wildcards.

As per the advert, one of the cards had an FP prefix, and this looks like it might stand for 'Footy Pointers'.
